Dental Implants are generally made from Titanium and are used to fill in missing teeth.  A two stage procedure where the implant is screwed into the jaw and then left to heal. During the healing process the bone grows around the implant to secure it further.  The second stage  involves attaching a titanium  core into the implant and a porcelain crown is then fitted to this. This routine treatment is an excellent alternative to dentures as you are able to eat everyday food without any concerns and your palate is unaffected.
